Vibration tester

Pick a rhythm and see how it behaves — steady buzz, rolling waves, popcorn bursts, or a full earthquake. On Android phones this page can drive the real vibration motor, so hold your phone and feel the difference between patterns. Rhythm changes how vibration feels far more than raw strength does.

How it works

The tester uses the browser's Vibration API, which takes a simple on/off timing list in milliseconds — that's why it can play rhythms but can't change intensity. Chrome and most Android browsers support it; Safari doesn't, on any device, so iPhones can't vibrate from a web page at all.

That gap is exactly what a native app closes: the Vibrate Phone app talks to the iPhone's Taptic Engine directly, which allows fine control over strength, sharpness, and speed on top of the pattern itself.

Nothing on this page is recorded or sent anywhere — the patterns run entirely on your device.

Prefer it with real vibration?

Vibrate Phone pairs adjustable vibration patterns with calming music and a screen lock, right on the iPhone already in your pocket. Free to try every day.
